After the decision last month to postpone WordCamp Europe 2020, the organizers announced they will be moving the [event online for free](https://2020.europe.wordcamp.org/2020/04/06/wordcamp-europe-2020-is-moving-online/).

The event will take place on June 4-6, and the team has even arranged a virtual Contributor Day on the 4th.

The event will be completely free and anyone who bought a ticket for this year’s conference will be refunded by April 10.

This is a great way to feel connected in such an uncertain time. Many WordPressers use WordCamps as a time to network, meet new people, and reconnect with old friends. While the postponement was a tough one, being able to see familiar faces and learn for free will be fantastic.
