WordPress Essex Meetup – June 2018
A Blue 37 Event
It’s true first impressions count, that’s why we’re looking at the website homepage this month at #WPESSEX. This will be a hand-on session for you to share knowledge and learn new techniques.
**ROOM CHANGE** We’re back to our normal room in the Lord Ashcroft Building MAB 116.
What Makes A Good Website Homepage?
Your homepage is the most important area on your website. You must give visitors a great first impression. You need to clearly tell visitors what your business offers them. If you don’t get your home page right, there’s a high chance people will exit your website without going any further.
Mike Pead, from Primary Image, will lead this hands-on, practical session on good design practice when it comes to creating website homepages.
We’ll look at some examples, good and bad, and of course have the chance to look at your own websites too.
Presented by Mike Pead. Mike works at Primary Image (https://www.primaryimage.uk), a WordPress design agency based in Southend-on-Sea, who support businesses of all sizes across the UK. Follow him @mikepead (https://twitter.com/mikepead)
